Finally getting to move down with Bret to NC...

Patty was so kind to drive down to NC with me. She broke in the Carolina room (if you don't know what this is, keep reading the blog to find out...) Aunt Michelle (Dad's sister) and Uncle Bill drove down from Greensboro/Summerfield to see the house as well, which was very kind. I think summer will be a HOT time here!

Patty and I put Bret to work immediately :)

A little ambience...

A temporary set up in the dining room - had to start preparing for our
2nd anniversary dinner, which was only days after I arrived....

West Point Ring Weekend

West Point tradition:
during your last year there, you receive a ring that signifies that you are a "firstie" or a senior.
This represents a great deal of hard work and sets the tone for the year with excitement.
Mom and Dad were able to go out of the event to WP. Proud of you Quelly!

Jeffersonville Outlets with Becca/Annabelle, Amanda/Brooks

Shopping with Amanda, Becca, and their beautiful children at the Jeffersonville Outlets!
Brooks was just about 2 months old and Annabelle about 2 yrs old.
And I'm sure I don't have to point out the hot mammas!
And the shopping was good too.........

Nomads in Columbus! Summer Partay!

Poolside at Nicole's! She was nice enough to open her home to us and cook some wonderful food.
Thanks Whit, Gil, and Rachel for driving over. We miss you Eileen! It's neat to have such a long lasting group of friends.

Captain Lehman, OD MS

Isn't he CUTE?!
This is my wonderful husband's office at Fort Bragg.
Optometry offices are called "lanes" (I think because the pathway/distance between the exam chair and the eye chart makes the room more of a hallway or a "lane" feeling).
Anyway, did I already mention that he is cute? Haha.
He works hard, too!

Wears this outfit to work daily
